Florida group names Washington Bancard exclusive card processing partner

According to the Orlando Business Journal, The Florida Bankers Association of Tallahassee, a primary resource for Florida financial service providers in Florida, has selected a Coral Gables credit card processing company as its primary partner for credit cards and services for its customers. The bankers association has now established a merchant account with Washington Bancard to offer efficient and secure credit card processing options for all of its members.

Washington Bancard Merchant Services is a minority-owned business headquartered in Coral Gables, and a registered ISO of Wells Fargo Bank. The company processes debit and credit card transactions for clients and businesses that need fast, efficient and secure credit card processing solutions. It offers merchant account services for both small and large businesses. Washington Bancard specializes in POS services for store operations and the successful implementation of software and hardware solutions for retailers, telecommunications providers and all types of transaction-based businesses. The company also offers electronic funds transfer services, gift card processing and electronic benefits transfer (EBT) processing.

While the Florida Bankers Association may not conduct high-volume payment transactions with credit cards on a daily basis, the organization does have a need for issuing credit cards to its members, and for securing credit card processing services with low fees. The partnership with Washington Bancard will allow the bankers association to count on a secure, reliable and efficient online payment gateway, and to provide some new services for all of its members.
