Credit card processing iPhone apps keep coming

The way we conduct business has become more and more mobile. There are many things to consider, and sometimes it's hard to use credit cards everywhere you go. This could become less of a problem considering a neat gadget that Mophie plans to unveil during the Consumer Electronics Show in 2010. This credit card processing app allows consumers with iPhones to use their hand-held phone to accept credit cards.

Details about how the app works haven't been released yet, but it's very exciting to think that merchants will be able to accept credit cards no matter where they are, as long as they have a cell phone signal. Imagine this: you are a graphic designer who goes to a client's office for a consultation. The client wants to do business with you, but wishes to pay with a corporate card. You are forced to either write down the information and manually key it into your system or wait until the client comes into your office. With the new Mophie app, all you would need to do is hook up the app, accept the credit card on the spot, and be on your way.

The Consumer Electronics Show 2010 is taking place from January 7, 2010 to January 10, 2010 in Las Vegas. During the show, over 2,700 exhibitors will showcase their products. If you don't know where to start at the show, the Mophie iPhone credit card app isn't the only app you might find useful. Visitors should download "Follow Me" to help navigate through the show. This will help you keep from getting lost and keep you organized and on track to seeing all the gadgets you wanted to see.

Believe it or not, the Mophie app isn't the only iPhone credit card processing app out there. Innerfence allows users to manually key in a customer's credit card information and track the payment and send receipts via e-mail. There are, of course, security concerns, but the creators state that using the iPhone app is a lot safer than the old method of taking a manual imprint of a card.

Technology is changing the way we do business each and every day. Heading to the Consumer Electronics Show or researching new ways to do business will yield entrepreneurs a vast array of ideas on how to make their businesses better.

The iPhone is just the beginning. There are several other smart phones on the market, and there will be plenty of chances to develop apps that accept credit cards and help business owners operate and thrive in an increasingly mobile society.
